In 2006 there was a competition for an illustrated version of Yann Martel’s Life of Pi. Despite loving the novel, I never bought it because I was really disappointed that Andrea Offerman (top) or Tomer Hanuka (bottom) didn’t win, and I didn’t like the winning artwork. Such is life.
